Starting November 1, Arla will raise milk prices by 22.1 Danish øre per kilo for both conventional and organic cooperative members.
With this increase, the “account price” for conventional milk will be 397.1 Danish øre per kilo, while organic milk will reach 449.7 Danish øre per kilo.
According to Arla’s press release, the rise in milk prices is mainly due to ongoing developments in the global dairy market, where raw material prices continue to climb amid strong demand. Retail sales have also remained robust, contributing to a stable outlook overall.
Despite higher milk prices for farmers, production levels have not increased significantly, largely due to uncertainties surrounding environmental regulations and similar measures being considered in various countries, which may impact farmers’ economic conditions.
