MS Iceland Dairies (Mjólkursamsalan) is supporting local aid organizations with 2.5 million ISK.
Iceland’s largest dairy cooperative, MS Iceland Dairies (Mjólkursamsalan), places a strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility, contributing to charitable causes throughout the year. For several years, MS has also supported aid organizations during Christmas, and this year, approximately 2.5 million Icelandic kronor have been distributed to seven organizations.
The organizations receiving support this time are: The Mothers’ Aid Committees in Reykjavík, Kópavogur, Hafnarfjörður, and Akureyri; Icelandic Family Aid; Church Aid; and the Good Fund in Árnessýsla.
On its website, MS also extends its gratitude to all the volunteers in these organizations for their selfless efforts.
MS is owned by 600 dairy farmers and employs 450 people. Beyond Iceland, the dairy company is best known for its Ísey Skyr brand, with several of its varieties winning medals at events such as the International Dairy Contest.
