For the third year in a row, the Norwegian dairy cooperative TINE is raising the rainbow flag at its facilities and farms across the country during the month of June. The flag is a symbol of TINE’s celebration of diversity and commitment to inclusion
- At TINE, we are many different people within one company – all working toward the same goal: to create a vibrant Norway – together. Our diversity is a strength; we reflect the broader society, including our customers and consumers. But even more important is that everyone feels welcome and included in the workplace. That’s why I’m proud that, for the third consecutive year, we’re flying the rainbow flag at our facilities and farms across Norway, clearly demonstrating the values we stand for, says TINE CEO Ann-Beth Freuchen.
- We continue to mark Pride to show solidarity with a basic human right that belongs to us all: the right to be who you are and to love whom you choose. We do this because community is at the heart of who we are,” she adds, referring to the cooperative spirit:
- I believe much of our strength lies in the strong sense of community and shared values that the cooperative movement represents – and it’s important that we clearly show what we stand for at TINE. We are a key player in Norwegian society – as an employer, and in many places, a cornerstone of local communities. We have strong values and are an integral part of people’s everyday lives. Here, we work together, we care for each other, and we see the whole person,” concludes Ann-Beth.
