IFC Water Congress: Water & Energy within Food Technology

Following the successes of the past 3 congresses on ‘Water for Food Processing’, the organizers are now ready with an exciting programme framed around Water &Energy in Food & Beverage Technology’. 
Join up to learn from world leading food and ingredient companies such as, Carlsberg, Danish Crown, KMC and Arla Foods Ingredients on how to improve sustainable water usage successfully. 

Food and Ingredients producers are currently focusing on the synergy between water and energy and setting new ambitious goals for their handling of water without incurring into a “Burden Shift” regarding energy. Furthermore, the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive as well as financing institutions require companies to transfer visions and plans into operational and measurable activities. 

So how do the companies meet these challenges, and which new technologies are they applying – and what is new from the world of research? These questions and much more will be treated at the 4th IFC Water Congress. 

The event consists of three thematic slots and site visits to Carlsberg’s recycling plant in Fredericia and the KMC plant in Brande. The congress will take place in Herning, Denmark, on October 1st -3rd and run concurrently with the renowned FoodTech exhibition and International Food Contest that attracts 8,000 visitors from around the world each year.
