Arla has joined the board of DI Biosolutions to drive innovation and advance efforts in shaping the future of food.

As a new board member of DI Biosolutions  – the leading Danish industry organization on biosolutions – Arla will focus on innovation and biotechnological solutions that can enhance the way we produce and consume food.

• The world is hungry, and with the global population expected to reach 10 billion by 2050, we must explore new production methods and fully utilize our resources. Biosolutions have the potential to provide exciting solutions that both reduce the climate footprint and optimize resource efficiency. As one of the world’s largest food producers, we actively contribute to innovation and a more sustainable development—to the benefit of the climate, society, and our owners, says Hanne Søndergaard, Executive Vice President of Agriculture, Sustainability, and Communications at Arla, in a press release.

DI Biosolutions brings together stakeholders from across the value chain to create a framework for growth and development in the sector. The board is committed to strengthening Denmark’s position as a global leader in biotechnological solutions.

Sofie Carsten Nielsen, Industry Director at DI Biosolutions, welcomes Arla Foods to the board:
