The Dutch dairy giant has announced a reduction of 0.25 euros per 100 kilogrammes of conventional milk – whilst simultaneously raising the guaranteed price for organic milk substantially.

FrieslandCampina is reducing its guaranteed price for conventional milk by 0.25 euros to 41.25 euros per 100 kilogrammes from July 2026, according to announcements from the company. The reduction reflects an expectation that prices at reference dairies in north-western Europe will fall slightly in the coming period.

The integral milk price – which comprises the guaranteed price supplemented by sustainability premiums, a quantity bonus, and deductions – amounts to 44.96 euros per 100 kilogrammes for conventional milk in July.

For organic milk, the guaranteed price rises by 1.75 euros to 63.50 euros per 100 kilogrammes. According to the company, the increase is the result of a correction for the previous period based on reference dairies’ prices in a relatively stable market. The integral organic milk price amounts to 63.09 euros per 100 kilogrammes in July.

FrieslandCampina’s reduction in the conventional milk price runs counter to the direction taken by Arla, which raised its milk price by 11.2 øre per kilogramme for both conventional and organic milk from July.
