The Danish technology company Lyras has appointed Mads Kiilerich Aamann to strengthen its global sales efforts.

Mads Kiilerich Aamann joins as Head of Sales following a career at Arla Foods, where he most recently served as Director of Technology. Prior to that, he worked at Chr. Hansen as Business Manager for Scandinavia. He holds an MSc in Dairy Science & Technology.

According to Lyras, he combines a strong technical background with extensive commercial experience, which is expected to support the company’s global sales organisation.

Expanding into the German market
The appointment comes at a time when Lyras is expanding the reach of its Raslysation technology. The company has also obtained regulatory approval in Germany – a market that, according to Lyras, has already attracted new customers.

As we continue expanding globally and enter new markets such as Germany, Mads will play a key role in strengthening and developing our sales organisation,” says Founder Rasmus Mortensen, according to a press release from Lyras.

Sees potential in global rollout
Mads Kiilerich Aamann also highlights the potential for further expansion of the technology:

“I am excited to join Lyras at such an important stage of the company’s growth journey. The opportunity to bring Raslysation technology to more companies globally and help drive the next phase of commercial expansion is incredibly motivating,” he says, according to the press release.

With the appointment, Lyras is increasing its focus on commercialisation and international scaling of the technology, which is already in use by food companies globally, including in the dairy industry.
