
Experienced journalist and communications leader takes over editorial responsibility at the specialized media house
Mejerimedier has appointed Maja Løvstrup as its new editor-in-chief. She stepped into the role on September 15, succeeding Director Anne-Sofi Christiansen, who has until now carried editorial responsibility.
With more than 20 years of experience in journalism and communications, Maja Løvstrup brings a strong background from both the media industry and organizational work. She has served as editor-in-chief and journalist, held leadership roles in public and private organizations, and run her own communications consultancy, working with clients ranging from national authorities to trade organizations and educational institutions. Much of her career has been devoted to value-driven organizations within gender equality, health, social affairs, and education.

Anne-Sofi Christiansen, Director of Mejerimedier, expressed her enthusiasm for the appointment:
Christiansen will continue in her other positions as head of the secretariat and director of MejeriForum and its associated organizations.

Although the dairy industry is a new field for her, Maja Løvstrup is eager to immerse herself:
Maja Løvstrup holds a Master’s degree in Danish and Applied Visual Communication from the University of Southern Denmark. She lives in Odense with her family.
