Mammen Mejerierne has reported record-high revenue of DKK 1.859 billion for 2024, marking a standout year for the Danish dairy company.

The strong financial performance was driven by increased production activity, robust export demand, and continued growth in new product categories—especially within the strategically important fresh dairy segment. Domestic sales across Scandinavian markets remained stable throughout the year.

– 2024 was a year of growth across the board. We processed 242 million kilograms of milk—our highest volume ever—achieved record revenue and paid our farmers a milk price above the national average. These results are a testament to the dedication and expertise of our employees, said CEO Lars Staunsbæk in a statement to the Danish Dairy Board (Mejeriforeningen).

A key driver of the increased revenue was a surge in white cheese exports to the Middle East, where geopolitical instability led to supply disruptions and prompted buyers to increase their orders. However, export demand in the region declined in the latter half of the year, while domestic sales held steady.

– Mammen posted a revenue of DKK 1.859 billion—a slight increase over 2023, which was also a record year. This growth is primarily due to higher milk intake and increased price levels, though export sales of traded goods were lower compared to last year,” the company noted.

Mammen Mejerierne also delivered a strong bottom line, with net profit rising to DKK 47.9 million—up from DKK 40.5 million in 2023. The improvement is largely attributed to higher production volumes and enhanced efficiency through better utilization of capacity.
