The demand for quark reached record highs last year, both in Sweden and across Europe. In response Arla Protein is now introducing two new quark products.

In December, the industry and employer organization Livsmedelsföretagen published a survey conducted by Demoskop, asking Swedes to name the trendiest food of the year. Quark topped the list, becoming so popular in 2024 that two of Sweden’s largest producers—Arla and Skånemejerier—occasionally struggled to keep up with demand. To address this, both Arla and Skånemejerier announced plans to expand production capacity.

Now, Arla is unveiling two new high-protein quark products under the Arla Protein brand, available in blueberry and strawberry flavors.
