
On Tuesday, September 30, MCH Messecenter Herning will once again welcome visitors to the International Food Contest. Over three days, guests can sample more than 1,000 dairy products and take part in a unique forum for inspiration, networking, and knowledge-sharing. among industry professionals.
The event takes place in Hall D, where dairies and suppliers to the dairy sector will showcase new products, exchange experiences, and strengthen business ties.
This year, around 1,000 products from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Iceland are entered in the competition. True to tradition, all will be available for tasting throughout the event. The championships in cheese, butter and blended products, as well as drinking milk, remain a highlight of IFC. New this year, visitors will have the opportunity to follow the judges’ final deliberations live on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. in the exhibition hall.
The official opening ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., featuring speeches and the announcement of this year’s championship winners. Henrik Damholt Jørgensen, Director of the Danish Dairy Association, will open the event, followed by Mette Toft, Production Director at Thise Dairy, who will deliver the keynote address. Toft, who has previously competed at IFC with both Arla and Thise, is looking forward to experiencing the event from a new perspective.
