Three new members join Arla’s board

Arla’s Board of Representatives has elected a new board for the period 2026–2028. Jan Toft Nørgaard continues as Chairman, and three new faces join the board.

At its meeting in Düsseldorf on 21 May, Arla’s Board of Representatives elected the board for the 2026–2028 term. Jan Toft Nørgaard and Inger-Lise Sjöström continue as Chairman and Deputy Chairwoman respectively.

Three new members have also been elected to the board. The two new Danish members are farmer-owner Jeppe Thing Jensen and employee representative Michael Skytt Juhl. Joining as a new external member is Natacha Valla, who succeeds Nana Bule, who chose not to stand for re-election. Valla is Dean of the School of Management at Sciences Po in Paris and brings extensive experience in macroeconomics, geopolitics and risk management gained across roles in the banking sector, academia, and international and European financial institutions.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank everyone for the trust placed in us. We remain focused on strengthening Arla as a competitive and resilient business, advancing our sustainability agenda and ensuring that we continue to deliver long-term value to our farmer-owners,” says Jan Toft Nørgaard.

Arla’s board comprises 14 farmer-owners and two external members elected by the Board of Representatives, as well as three employee representatives elected by Arla’s European Works Council.
