Norwegian dairy company TINE has appointed Shaher Yar Khan as its new executive vice president for TINE Supply Chain, where he will be responsible for production, distribution, logistics, and research and development.

– This is an honorable task I’ve been given. I look forward to working with some of Norway’s strongest brands and leading TINE’s highly skilled supply chain organization, says Khan.

Khan brings nearly 30 years of experience in supply chain management, commercial operations, and B2B sales — including a long career within the Orkla Group. Most recently, he served as COO of Orkla Health Holding and Chairman of the Board of Orkla Health Ocean and Perdient Group.

– We must continue to maintain a commercial focus and be driven by profitability, without compromising on a safe and reliable food supply, he adds.

TINE’s CEO Ann-Beth Freuchen welcomes the appointment:
