Research firm YouGov has released its annual report, highlighting Sweden’s top food brands, with the nation’s three largest dairy companies securing spots on the list.

Wasabröd tops the list of Sweden’s strongest food brands, followed by Arla and Norrmejerier’s classic Västerbottensost. This is based on YouGov’s 2024 annual brand ranking, which measures the overall brand strength of companies in Sweden.

• Swedish food brands hold a unique position in consumers’ minds. The fact that traditional brands like Wasabröd, Arla, and Västerbottensost lead the rankings highlights Swedes’ ongoing trust in domestic producers, says Charlotte Alring, Business Manager at YouGov Sweden, in a press release.

2. Arla (33.6)
3. Västerbottensost (30.7)
4. Pågen (30.5)
5. Kungsörnen (30.3)
6. Heinz (27.4)
7. Lantmännen (27.0)
8. Felix (26.8)
9. Skånemejerier (26.7)
10. Abba (24.7)

Several food brands also rank highly in the overall brand ranking. Wasabröd takes fifth place, Arla comes in sixth, and Västerbottensost secures the tenth spot on the general top list, where Swish (44.5), IKEA (42.6), and Volvo (37.7) make up the top three.
