The U.S. industrial group ITT Inc. has agreed to acquire the process equipment supplier SPX FLOW in a transaction valued at just under USD 4.8 billion. The acquisition brings together two strong players in pumps, valves and process solutions – with significant relevance for the dairy industry.
SPX FLOW is a well-established supplier to dairies worldwide, providing equipment and technologies for fluid handling, mixing and thermal processing, among other applications. The company is behind a number of widely used brands in dairy processing and has a substantial business within service and the aftermarket.
Following the acquisition, SPX FLOW will become part of ITT’s Industrial Process division, which already supplies pumps and valve solutions to the process industries. According to ITT, the combination is expected to strengthen the group’s technological breadth and global service capabilities – including within food, health and nutrition markets.
SPX FLOW most recently reported revenues of approximately USD 1.3 billion and operates in more than 25 countries. The transaction is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2026, subject to the required regulatory approvals.
