Mejerigaarden enters partnership with Mondelēz

New ice creams based on Daim, Oreo and Marabou are set to strengthen the Danish producer’s portfolio and support its growth ambitions for 2026.

The Danish ice cream company Mejerigaarden has entered into a partnership with the international confectionery group Mondelēz International to launch several well-known brands as ice cream products on the Danish market.

The agreement includes variants based on Daim, Oreo and Marabou, expanding the company’s branded range. Mejerigaarden is the company behind Premier Is and Hjem-IS, and the new products are expected to be launched במהלך 2026.

Part of a broader brand strategy
The collaboration with Mondelēz follows a series of licence and brand agreements. Mejerigaarden has previously partnered with the Carlsberg Group on a Tuborg Squ ash ice cream and is simultaneously expanding its collaboration with Toms Gruppen.

The company is thus continuing a strategy in which well-known consumer brands are used as a lever for growth in a highly competitive ice cream market.

Expectations for 2026
In recent years, Mejerigaarden has been working on a turnaround following a period of losses and reports high expectations for the coming year.

– This is a partnership with significant potential, and I am convinced that the new ice creams will be strong additions and contribute positively to our growth journey in 2026, said CEO Kirsten Ægidius in a statement.

The agreement underscores a market-driven focus on differentiation and portfolio expansion within the Danish ice cream sector.
