Private equity fund becomes the majority shareholder in Fayrefield

Food manufacturer Fayrefield Ingredients Holding A/S in Vejle gains a new majority shareholder. The private equity fund Erhvervsinvest is acquiring 60 percent of the company.

Fayrefield is a global supplier of dairy-based ingredients, functional blends, cheese, butter, and nutritional products for the food industry. The company operates production facilities in Denmark and has offices in the United States, China, Poland, France, and the United Arab Emirates.

According to a press release, Fayrefield achieved a turnover of DKK 1.7 billion and an EBITDA of DKK 66.8 million in 2024. For 2025, turnover is expected to reach around DKK 1.9 billion.
