When Denmark’s top chefs earn Michelin stars, it also has a significant impact on Danish food producers
At the Michelin Guide Ceremony for the Nordic Countries, held at Anneberg Kulturpark in Odsherred, Landbrug & Fødevarer (Danish Agriculture & Food Council) participated as a partner and representative of the Danish food industry.
Several producers supplying Denmark’s Michelin-starred restaurants see their collaboration with top gastronomy as an invaluable part of their professional and business development – among them, the dairy company Naturmælk in Southern Jutland.
He continued:
– We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to develop new products in close dialogue with them. Our recent acquisition, Hårbølle Mejeri, has brought new dimensions to both the dairy sector and the chefs’ palette of ingredients. And the collaboration is honest – the chefs keep us on our toes and speak up if something needs adjustment. The quality must be just right, delivered on time. The mutual trust and shared focus on craftsmanship create an important synergy that continually drives us forward, said Leif Jørgensen, CEO of Naturmælk.
